RALEIGH – Lara Trump was a big part of Donald Trump’s success in the Old North State through out the 2016 presidential election. The Wrightsville Beach native and N.C. State graduate helped her father-in-law approach the First in Freedom state with her local knowledge, serving as a surrogate for many events and drawing a Carolina connection to the MAGA spirit.
Since then, Lara and husband Eric Trump have become parents, welcoming their second child just this week. Turns out the ‘Carolina’ connection is getting even stronger.
