If it wasn’t already apparent to every American that Democrats are willing to do anything to take away our right to keep and bear arms, it should now be abundantly clear.
Back in May, Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell (California) penned an op-ed for USA Today in which he made the case for outlawing “military-style semiautomatic assault rifles” (whatever those are), and forcing gun owners to either sell those weapons or face jail time.
Yes, you read that correctly – JAIL TIME for exercising your rights.
The story was actually reported by some mainstream media outlets out the time, but quickly faded as the media continued their efforts to bring down the Trump White House.
That was until today, when John Cardillo, a Newsmax host, retreaded the story on Twitter in an attempt to warn the American people that Democrats “want to eradicate the Second Amendment.”
Make no mistake, Democrats want to eradicate the Second Amendment, ban and seize all guns, and have all power rest with the state.
These people are dangerously obsessed with power. https://t.co/f1AS6Me0ko

As expected, this garnered quite the response on Twitter, with one person correctly asserting that Rep. Swalwell’s proposal wouldn’t go over well in most of these United States.

And that’s when things got crazy.
Rep. Swalwell – a member of the United States Congress and a soon-to-be Democrat Presidential candidate – responded by openly suggesting that in such a scenario he’d be totally cool with the federal government dropping NUCLEAR WEAPONS on American citizens.
And it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they’re legit. I’m sure if we talked we could find common ground to protect our families and communities.

Funny how liberals always seem to want to find common ground with conservatives, you know, after they threaten to wipe them off the face of the planet.
This is just par for the course for the violent left in 2018.
