Decision Desk HQ Projects Thom Tillis Winner of US Senate Race (Finally)

WASHINGTON, D.C. – After holding a solid lead ever since election night — a lead that bucked all the polls prior to that — the ‘Projection Powers That Be’ are projecting Sen. Thom Tillis has won reelection to the U.S. Senate.

Though he was among the most unpopular senators in the nation coming into his reelection race, some serious faux pas by his philandering opponent Cal Cunningham, along with the vital importance of keeping the Senate in Republican hands, carried Tillis over the top.

That leaves the two runoff elections in Georgia, presumably, as the only real question marks left for the U.S. Senate. That, and who will actually be Vice President come 2021 if there are tie-breaking votes to be held.
