CHARLOTTE – Democrat Dan McCready is facing off against Republican Mark Harris in the race for North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, and it is one of the question marks in the struggle for control of the U.S. House.
A few weeks ago McCready and Harris held a debate in which Harris repeatedly attacked McCready as a probable supporter of notorious California Democrat and current House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. McCready bristled every time and offered an obviously prepared line that Harris wasn’t running against Nancy Pelosi, but Dan McCready.
He also boastfully claimed to have not taken any money from Nancy Pelosi in his bid to aid Democrats’ Blue Wave hopes. The truth, however, is that Mccready’s campaign has received quite a bit of support from the Pelosi clan.

It is easy to understand why Democrats running in a toss up district would want to separate themselves from the ultra-liberal Californian lawmaker to allay concerns of moderate Republicans and conservative Democrats whose votes they are courting.
But we all know what McCready and other Democratic hopefuls will do should they win a trip to Capitol Hill; they’ll toe the line for Pelosi and carry their weight for the Left’s agenda. That’s why it’s incumbent upon the people of the 9th District to send a representative to Washington that looks out for the 9th District, and not the interests of a hyper-partisan Leftist from San Francisco.
