Dan Forest Gets Key Congressional Endorsements for 2020 Governor Bid

RALEIGH – While the campaign to elect Dan Forest governor in 2020 is still technically in ‘exploratory’ mode, the current Republican lieutenant governor is racking up key endorsements for the race to unseat Democrat Roy Cooper.

Today, the Dan Forest for Governor Exploratory Committee released the names of the following members of Congress, from the North Carolina Congressional Delegation, who endorse Dan Forest in his bid for Governor in 2020.

Reps. Ted Budd, Virginia Foxx, George Holding, Patrick McHenry, Mark Meadows, Mark Walker are all lining up behind Forest. They are likely all keenly aware of how damaging the tenure of Roy Cooper has been and don’t want to see him earn another four years.

Neither do we. If you’d like to help make sure Cooper is a loser in 2020, you can do so here.
