DURHAM – Former Vice President and (fading) Democrats’ presidential front runner Joe Biden will be in North Carolina campaigning on Sunday as he heads to Durham’s Hillside High School.
Biden, still out front of the dozen other Democratic presidential candidates in most polls, has been decelerating as of late as the attempted Trump impeachment sham blows back on him. He’s undoubtedly hoping to skate by on name ID and comfort level alone, and his stop by Durham is to protect his lead among Democratic voters in Old North State.
However, if the Biden campaign is in need of a shot in the arm, it’s probably not coming from Sunday’s trail stop in the Bull City; they’re expecting dozens of people.
