COVID Curfew: Cooper Issues Stay-at-Home Order from 10PM-5AM, Bans Alcohol Sales After 9PM

RALEIGH – As if the coronavirus only comes out at night, Governor Roy Cooper announced Tuesday a modified Stay-at-Home decree in which citizens are ordered to stay at home between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

Cooper also announced that all alcohol sales would be prohibited after 9:00 PM.

The order goes into effect Friday, December 11.

The governor King also warned that he will restrict citizens’ movements further if current COVID trends continue.
