As long as environmentalists on the Left scream the loudest about the perils of fossil fuels and offshore drilling, they will drive the narrative and propel their false, fear mongering narrative about resource extraction.
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has an open public comment portal until March 9, in which citizens can make their voices heard on the issue.
A similar comment portal for the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (now of Cooper slush fund fame) proposal gathered thousands of comments. The overwhelming majority of them were against the pipeline.
In order to give BOEM a more accurate impression of popular sentiment on the issue of exploring and extracting oil on the Outer Continental Shelf you and others that support drilling to achieve higher qualities of life need to leave your comments and make your case.
