Cooper, NC Dems, Join Chorus on Left Calling for Trump Removal

RALEIGH – A week ago, you probably would not have anticipated the exact nature of the high drama about to descend upon the nation’s capital, but the reaction of the Left would have been all too predictable.

The Left is calling for using abusing the 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump from office, and Governor Roy Cooper and a bevy of North Carolina Democrats are elbowing each other out of the way to jump on the bandwagon.

This president has betrayed our country and is therefore unfit to lead it. He should resign or be removed from office. – RC

By now it is clear to anyone reading this that the narrative has been set: President Donald Trump literally incited and instructed his supporters to march to the U.S. Capitol on January 6 and attempt violent insurrection, resulting in death, destruction, and an attack at the very heart of our Democracy; he is dangerous; and, he must me physically removed from office before anymore damage is done.

This is the narrative being spun on nearly every news media you could tune into. Of course, it is as false as the message’s coordinated distribution is complete.

Here it is again from new Congresswoman Deborah Ross (D-NC):

I urge President Trump to resign. I urge Vice President Pence and the Cabinet secretaries to invoke the 25th Amendment. However, as these actions appear unlikely, I have cosponsored articles of impeachment to remove President Trump from office.

Rep. David Price (D-NC) said, “I call on Vice President Pence and cabinet members to uphold their oath to the Constitution and invoke the 25th Amendment immediately to remove President Trump from office. President Trump’s erratic behavior, his refusal to honor his constitutional duties, and his incitement of an attack on the very seat of democracy leave us no choice. It is too dangerous to wait until January 20th.”

N.C. Attorney General Josh Stein is leveraging his office to issue more than mere talking points; he wants your help in identifying North Carolinians that involved in this ‘violent insurrection.’

Now, to be clear, we at First in Freedom Daily are consistent in our calls for Law and Order. As such we very much expect those protesters that broke laws, and especially those rioters that engaged in violence, to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

But guess what? So does President Donald Trump. The media quite literally does not want you to know that.

In lieu of the 25th Amendment, Democrats are filing articles of impeachment this week, planning to impeach Trump a second time. And, for a second time, the impeachment charge will be built on a lie.

Except this time the lie is far more dangerous. Not just to Trump, but to all of us.
