Cooper Appointed State Board of Education Member, Fomer NC Teacher of Year: ‘DNC Playing to Swing Voters, aka White Supremacy’

RALEIGH – A Democrat appointed to the N.C. Board of Education by Governor Roy Cooper was ‘despondent’ as he watched the all virtual Democratic National Convention (DNC) last night. Why? Well, the 2014-2015 Teacher of the Year is frustrated that the Democrats aren’t sufficiently embracing the Anti-Racist dogma as evidenced by their appeal to…swing voters.

Ah, yes, the quintessential racist: The Swing Voter.

Ford, serving on the State Board of Education since Cooper appointed him to fill a vacancy in 2018, should have said he’s “too Woke for this Sh*t,” and the DNC isn’t walking the line of the Critical Theory hustle.

He’s been this Woke for a while, saying in an interview upon being appointed to the BOE, “I can’t speak on what’s happened beforehand. I can say that while I am there, I am certain we are going to be angled toward equity in everything that we do.”

So, not that this is in any way surprising, but we have a BOE member who filters everything through the notion that disparate outcomes in education are the sole results of Systemic Racism and White Supremacy, and the only remedy is to push ‘Equity’ by any means necessary. Not equality; Equity.

The difference being, of course, that Equity is attempting to force equality of outcome by enforcing some arbitrary reallocation system; and, equality of opportunity, in which individuals are merely treated the same within a system, is regarded not only as myth, but as a harmful ideology that upholds injustices like “white supremacy.”

Which, according to Ford, is exactly what the DNC was supporting when they made an, albeit brief and likely internally exaggerated, appeal to moderate swing voters in a presidential election.

If the current Democratic Party isn’t Woke enough for James Ford, one may shutter to envision what Party would be.

Alas, these are Democrats’ chosen education leaders. Their ‘Teacher of the Year’ recipients. And they’re making decisions about how children in public schools are educated indoctrinated, even if it is remotely at the moment.
