CHRISTMAS COPS: Local Police Go Christmas Shopping for Disadvantaged Local School Kids

COLUMBUS COUNTY – Police officers have suffered one of the most spectacular falls in public image this year, often the target of Woke mobs and gangs alike, but the true blue is shining through in Whiteville, as usual, this Christmas season.

Officers in this small North Carolina town are continuing their Christmas Cops tradition, and set out shopping at a local Wal-Mart Thursday with wish lists in hand from kids at Edgewood Elementary School and Whiteville Primary School.

From Columbus News Reporter:

“[…] WPD has done the program for more than a decade and typically, the kids would go shopping with the officers. However, due to COVID-19 precautions, the kids couldn’t take part this season.

“Oh man, they are filled with joy [and] happiness. They’re ecstatic, especially the ones that could possibly not get anything for Christmas. It lights up their eyes, lights up my heart just to see them receive these gifts,” Riggins said. […]”

So instead of the blatant anti-cop bias inundating social and political movements in 2020, these kids have a cheerful association with the police, one of the most important ‘givers’ in any community.
