MANTEO – You might remember the Governor of Virginia as the one that argued in favor of post-birth abortions;or, maybe as the one caught in a school yearbook donning ‘blackface.’ Many in Dare County, however, might well remember him in the future as the one governor that sneaked out of his own state, the citizens of which he ordered to stay home, on a private plane, only to stealthily land in a neighboring state, to leisure at his vacation home in a county that has literally blocked access to all other non-resident property owners.
Those are the rumors flying around about Virginia Governor Ralph Northam among observant residents in Dare County, raising serious questions and a dose of sketpcism. If it’s true, it is the ultimate ‘Do as I say, not as I do’ example from Northam, if it’s true.
From Big League Politics:
“Eyewitness accounts describe Northam as leaving Virginia, flying into North Carolina’s Dare County with the use of a private plane. He’s purportedly used private drivers to pick him up from Wright Memorial Airport, who take the governor to his vacation home in Manteo, North Carolina.
A Virginia man who describes having been briefed on the matter by Dare County residents has been unable to receive concrete answers on Northam’s whereabouts.
He claims to have spoken “with numerous people in Dare County who have seen or heard that Northam is going to and from his vacation home on a regular basis. When questions are being asked of those who could answer questions- the local sheriff in Dare County, the security guards at the Pirates Cove gated community, First Flight Airport, etc – EVERYONE becomes suspiciously quiet and off the record says they are sure Northam is there but on the record do not want their name tied to it, and refuse to provide proof- like security guards log from the gated community or like flight logs from the airport.”
Allegedly, vehicles seemingly belonging to Northam have been spotted on weekends at their Dare County vacation home. Some say it’s ‘Fake News,’ while others believe the matter could be addresses with some answers to simple questions. One of those people is a Virginia state senator who posed questions, for both Northam and those alleging his extremely hypocritical travel.
If certain questions are not answered, then the rumors are bound to take hold regardless of their truth. On the same note, if further evidence isn’t offered to back up allegations, the whole thing will be eligible for ‘Fake News’ treatment.
Either way, we’ll bring you more developments if there are any.
