Biden Picks Kamala Harris, Uncomfortable Quotes from Dem Primary Immediately Ensue

WASHINGTON, D.C. – By now you’ve heard that presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has picked senator from California, and one of his 2020 Democratic primary opponents, Kamala Harris as his running mate.

There is a more than usual amount of focus on Biden’s pick for potential Vice President because there is very little confidence that Biden himself would be able to finish the term, but the first things to notice about Harris is how much she dumped on Biden during the primary campaign earlier this year.

Indeed, Kamala Harris attacked Biden directly in debates, accused him of enabling racist policies, and blatantly signaled her virtue by saying she believes all of Joe Biden’s sexual assault accusers.

Awkward? Only for people with a sense of decency.

Now Harris gloats that she’s willing to do what it takes to make Biden commander-in-chief.

President Donald Trump and his campaign, for their part, did not waste anytime attacking Harris. Because there’s a virtual consensus that Biden will not actually be the president if he were to win the election, Harris’s record and positions are a huge target.

That record reveals her to be a huge Leftist, not that this would be unusual for a Democratic politician in 2020.

From the Trump campaign:

“In her failed attempt at running for president, Kamala Harris gleefully embraced the left’s radical manifesto, calling for trillions of dollars in new taxes and backing Bernie Sanders’ government takeover of health care. She is proof that Joe Biden is an empty shell being filled with the extreme agenda of the radicals on the left.”

Has there ever been an emptier shell running for president than Joe Biden? And to partially fill that shell, we have what Sean King, a Black Lives Matter fixture, calls the “most progressive VP nominee in American history.”

Great.
