CHARLOTTE – U.S. Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina may not be a household name, but he should be. The Republican who grew up in north Charleston with a single mother and all the headwinds to success you can imagine, is a successful businessman, and insightful leader in an era of hot takes and celebrating victims.
He gave, perhaps, the best speech of the night during the first day of the RNC at Charlotte. Setting the theme ever more firmly, Scott delivered a message that will resound through out this election. Scott’s message, and his ascent as a leader, may very well reverberate for much longer than that.
