Antifa Thugs Attack Journalist Repeatedly in Portland, Police Do NOTHING

PORTLAND, OR – The ironically named Antifa thugs are at it again in Portland, a city they have more or less overrun as the mayor and police leaders do next to nothing to enforce law and order. At an event this weekend, billed as an anti-Proud Boys protest, several masked Antifa hooligans assaulted journalist Andy Ngo with weapons, sending him to the hospital.

Actually, Ngo was attacked three separate times (and also robbed) for having the gumption to film Antifa and describe their activities. Each time Ngo asks Portland police why they are not doing anything to prevent violent assaults or hold the assailants accountable.

Most of the interactions were caught on film, as reported here by The Blaze:

“Antifa has dropped out of the news over the last few months, but it’s not for lack of activity. They still show up at every major event, at any protest, at rallies, and essentially anywhere they can cause trouble. One might assume they’re out of the news because bigger stories and the national attention span have been elsewhere, but maybe it’s because this very violent group is attacking reporters who dare to share the facts about them.

Especially when doing so involves documenting their actions with video and photos.

That’s exactly what the independent journalist Andy Ngo does, and he has paid for it more than once. This time, that includes a visit to the hospital after being beaten bloody and robbed by Antifa “activists” on Saturday. […]”

At what point does a city become so averse to law and order that such thugs are allowed to agitate and attack people with impunity? Portland’s Antifa ‘club’ of cowardly Leftists is extremely active, often shutting down traffic and physically assaulting anyone they learn to hold opposing views. They do all of this while police stand down on orders from the city’s equally cowardly mayor.

The Left often ascribes hateful and violent messaging to those on the Right. Yet, it is clear for anyone to see that the extremist movements on the Left are far more guilty of such than any other groups. The mainstream media? Silent, unless they are spinning the story to give Antifa the benefit of the doubt.

As 2020 elections heat up, expect Antifa to increase their abhorrent activity. Maybe if the nation sees what direction the Left is leading them, voters will reject their illiberal, violent ideology on a large scale.
