Anti-Racists? NC Dems Go Scorched Earth on NC’s 1st Black Lieutenant Governor After Fiery On-Target Convention Speech

RALEIGH – Want to know who the Left fears in North Carolina politics? Look no further than the conniptions on display over Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson’s inspiring speech at the NGOP convention in Greenville. ‘Divisive and language and hateful rhetoric’ is how the Party of anti-racists dismisses the real-talking oratory of North Carolina’s first black lieutenant governor.

Oh that’s right; teaching our children to judge and morally categorize people by the color of their skin is now the the dogma du jour for the Left.

That the Democrats are hitting back so hard, though, is evidence of just how hard hitting Robinson’s rhetoric really is. Make no mistake, we are in the throes of a culture war and the battlefield has engulfed everything from the classroom to the boardroom. It is no longer the realm of mere ‘social issues’ within the larger political matrix. It is pervasive and dominant through out.

Robinson catches flak as a consequence of being so on target. Moreover, the forceful and common sense disassembly of en vogue Woke ideas and the movements behind them is as devastating as it is provocative. Liberal news outlets like WRAL can’t believe he’s actually saying these things. From WRAL:

“In the wide-ranging, forcefully delivered and well-received speech, North Carolina’s first Black lieutenant governor visited just about every front of the nation’s ongoing culture wars.

Being transgender is a delusion, he said. Antifa, a loosely knit protest movement around the country, “wants to roam the streets and beat you into submission,” he said.

The Black Lives Matter movement “claims to care about the lives of Black people but has turned a blind eye while violence in Black communities is taking Black lives at a genocidal rate,” he said.

Once a woman gets pregnant, “it’s not your body anymore, it’s y’all’s body,” Robinson said. “And, yes, that includes the daddy. She’s not your baby mama anymore. She ought to be your wife.” […]”

With eyes rolling, no doubt, the outlet notes how the crowd ‘ate it up’ and used obligatory terms like ‘red meat’ before eagerly turning to Far Left rags like IndyWeek to activate the narrative spinning of Robinson’s speech as ‘lunacy.’

Leftist NC Policy Watch declared Robinson had “outdone himself,” and marked it as the most unhinged tirade yet because…he unapologetically defending the unborn’s right to life.

Watch this speech and consider that these values are what the Left and much of the mainstream media regard as lunacy and hateful.
