WASHINGTON, D.C. – Another Congressman from North Carolina has indicated he will object to certifying the electoral college on January 6. Congressman Ted Budd (R-13) says millions of Americans saw what he saw:
Yes, I plan to object on January 6th.
MILLIONS of Americans saw what I saw:
– Voter safeguards removed
– No signature verification
– Outdated voter rolls
– Ballots accepted after Election Day
– Poll watchers denied access

Note that Budd doesn’t even mention the allegations of outright fraud and/or manipulation. The extralegal rule changes alone, and failures to follow established state laws, constitutes enough uncertainty around the legality of such vote counts that members of congress like Budd see fit to challenge their certification.
