WASHINGTON, D.C. – Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) may have prevented President Donald Trump from giving the State of the Union address in the U.S. House (and got owned in response), but she can’t do anything to stop the Tweeter-in-Chief from taking his message directly to the American people.
He did just that Friday morning, tweeting about another migrant caravan forming south of the border.
Another big Caravan heading our way. Very hard to stop without a Wall!

Good point! While stopping drugs from coming into this country from Mexico and Central America would be nearly impossible, even with a border wall, such barriers are most effective at stopping actual people from illegally entering the country, whatever their reasons.
We know from the much publicized caravan in 2018 that these groups are organized, financed, and encouraged by Leftists with with an ‘open borders’ agenda. We know from embedded reporters that the caravan included criminals wanted for murder, as well as foreign nationals from the other side of the world. And that’s just the examples that reporters could confirm; what about all of those shady characters that are unaccounted for, not just in the caravans, but everyday at our porous southern border.
The Shutdown lives on, and the only thing holding it up is Democrats’ unwillingness to appropriate $5.7 billion for beefed up border security, specifically a wall, or fence, or whatever term is acceptable in common parlance. That’s a lot of money to you and me, but in the scheme of things, with a truly massive government addicted to spending, it’s a drop in the ocean.
More and more it seems as if the Shutdown will only get fixed, and border security addressed, after something truly disastrous happens. What happens when an immovable object is confronted by an unstoppable force? Considering that neither President Trump, nor Speaker Pelosi show any signs of giving in, I’m afraid we’re going to find out.
In the meantime, though, as the president points out, illegal immigrants, whether in a caravan or not, are too often able to cross into our country unchecked. It’s a nonsensical situation to tolerate if national security a priority of politicians on either side.
