CHARLESTON – The Democratic candidates vying to challenge President Donald Trump lined a stage for yet another blooper reel debate Wednesday night, this time in South Carolina. The Palmetto State is supposed to be one of former Vice President Joe Biden’s last bulwarks,and Michael Bloomberg has spent quite a bit of cash saturating the Carolinas and other Super Tuesday states with ads. The crowd certainly seemed to favor Biden and Bloomberg in the many tiffs of the night, but overall this debate was another knives out affair for the socialist and the billionaire out front.
After winning the Nevada caucuses, Bernie Sanders appears to be building an insurmountable lead. This may have been the rest of the field’s last chance to prevent an avowed and truly radical socialist from winning the Democratic nomination. The desperation showed as (relatively) more moderate candidates took turns attacking Sanders’ massive government spending plans to implement his U.S.S.A. agenda.
